Lianne & Mike wedding in Far Forest
Wow what an amazing vintage themed wedding with Lianne & Mikes wedding in Far Forest Nr Bewdley. From start to finish wonderful country fayre food, stunning classic cars, horses, sheep, Chickens, tractors with the odd pair of turkey’s for good measure. Lianne and Mike where married at the Holy Trinity Church in Far Forest near Bewdley. The church sits in the village just a few minutes from Lianne’s parents home. The venue was a classic marquee in a meadow at the rear of Lianne’s parents home and next to the forest. Everyone enjoyed the glorious sunny weather with the odd shower of course, typical British summer time. Starting the day at the Marquee, I was amazed at the wild flowers and detail which was the signature to the whole wedding day. Just a few words from Lianne, HOW DID YOU MEET? “Our parents are good friends, one night we both went out with our parents to see a band and we just got talking. WHAT WAS THE PROPOSAL LIKE? Well he still hasn’t asked me!!! For our anniversary Mike arranged a hotel meal and a day at Goodward. When we had finished our meal he left the ring under my napkin for me to find. HOW DID YOU FIND WEDDING PLANNING? Tips!! “I have tried to do most of it myself, food, cake, flowers because it make our day very personal, however I had to give up on a lot other things I would have liked to do. So decide on what important and make sure you have enough time to do it”. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING VENUE? “I grew up in the village where my parents live so I wanted a local church and a Marquee at my parents, so again it will make our wedding day personal. WHAT WILL BE YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE DAY? “Leaving the church, every thing coming together and we are married! Then just the party to relax and enjoy time with friends and family.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Lianne & Mike, family and friends for making us feel so welcome. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day. We wish you both all the happiness in the world and a healthy and wealthy life together. Jon & Max
