Stanbrook Abbey Wedding Photography with Amy & Ashley

Warm Summers day wedding at Stanbrook Abbey.

Weddings in the UK on the whole, enjoy good weather, however, you can photograph a wedding on a Friday and endure stormy weather then the following day wow a hot summers day, 13th July was no exception the glorious sunshine was upon us with just the odd cloud. As a regular wedding photographer at Stanbrook Abbey ( Worcestershire) this stunning and unique Grade II listed Monastery can cater to all kind of weddings from the glamorous to the more intimate.

The Day started with the all the guys all 18 of them… Ashley and his entourage started the day in the groom’s room and progressed outside for various shots of everyone in the group. The Girls… prepared for the day in the Brides Manor which is just perfect for any wedding.

Wedding Ceremony at Stanbrook Abbey

The Callow Hall was filled with family and friends from all over the UK and Australia with over 250 guests enjoyed the ceremony and celebrations. When you walk in the the Callow Hall from the Brides Manor, you can feel all those people looking at you, and I always think to myself I wonder what they are thinking, most likely they start to become excited as the bride will be walking in any time soon. The Bride must feel a sense of nerves an excitement, you can never tell how the bride is going to react until she appears at the alter.  Most couples alway love the idea of natural photographs Heart wedding photography is entirely natural allowing couples to be themselves without any need for posing.  Once the ceremony is over a sigh of relief for the couple and after a confetti spray it was all in the Marquee for the wedding breakfast and speeches, followed by party time.

Thank you to Amy and Ashley who asked me to be their Stanbrook Abbey wedding photographer, wishing you both all the very best and happiness in your lives together.

A special thank you to David Causon Photography, not only for is fearless photography talents but for being a close friend too and of course for all his hard work during the wedding day.

Also a huge thank you to Nick Tucker ( Hairdresser ) for all his hairdressing talents. Many thanks to Ben Kirby Photography lighting assistant.

Dauntsey Park House Wedding Photography | Kelly & Shane

Wedding Photography in Wiltshire

Dauntsey Park House wedding Photographer | Wiltshire Wedding Photography | Worcester Wedding Photographer

Dauntsey Park House Malmsbury is new wedding venue for us located in Wiltshire, The House is based on a 14th Century Manor. We believe that this exclusive venue only offerers a fixed number of weddings dates during the year as it is a private residence. Kelly & Shane came across the venue some two years ago and decided it was the only place for their wedding day.

The Wedding ceremony was held at Wanborough Church in Wanborough. Our brief was for a relaxed and informal day with a sprinkling of group photographs that both Kelly & Shane wanted to be taken on the day giving is a little more time to capture those candid shots of everyone. The evening light was just perfect for a romantic walk around the estate with a sunset shot to finish. Here are just a few words from the couple. How did you both meet? We both met each other while working at Primark and as they say, the rest is history.

What was the proposal like? Shane decided to take Kelly for a Helicopter ride while staying at the Grand Hotel in Brighton which is where Shane Proposed to Kelly. The day after they both went to Newbury Races. How did you find wedding planning? Both really enjoyed the wedding planning it was two years in the making and we have loved every minute.
What is going to be the favourite part of the day? Saying our “I Do’s
We would like to thank both Kelly and Shane for giving us the privilege to share and capture their wedding day, wow what a day it was too. Jon Allen Heart Wedding Photography

Lord Leycester Hospital Wedding Photographer | Sarah & Alistair

It was just so wonderful to be asked by Sarah & Alistair to be their Lord Leycester Hospital wedding Photographer

Timeless Photography at The Lord Leycester Hosptial Warwick

Everyone asks themselves “a hospital as a wedding venue” fortunately, it is no longer operating as a hospital.

The Lord Leycester Hospital (often known simply as the Lord Leycester) is one of the best-preserved examples of medieval courtyard architecture in England and is a charity supporting ex-servicemen and is located in the heart of Warwick, England, next to the West Gate.

The Lord Leycester is quite a unique wedding venue situated in the high street Warwick. To complement the venue is a splendid private garden at the rear, a typical English Garden.
Our day started with the girls ( Runi, Laura, Rosanna, Halah, & Sam) at Sarah’s home in Stratford upon Avon, before proceeding to the wedding venue, and meeting Alistair and his best man, Ben. Sarah travelled to the Lord Leycester by vintage 1930’s Rolls Royce although we had a little rain it added to the wonderful atmosphere.

We were greeted by Concert Harpist Fran Barsby who was filling the venue with music which had a calming effect on everyone. Once the ceremony was complete, we moved the to the chapel for a blessing. The evening reception was held in the main hall with live music supplied by APOLLO and all superbly organised by Howard Jones our master of ceremonies, thank you, Howard.

I would like to say a huge congratulations to Sarah & Alistair for being such a wonderful couple and moreover allowing me to share their wedding day. I leave you with a selection of images from Sarah & Alistair Wedding Day.

Hoar Cross Hall Wedding Photographer | Vivienne & Adrian

Hoar Cross Hall wedding Photographer

Vivienne & Adrian outside Hoar Cross Hall

What a wonderful day being Vivienne & Adrians photographer at their Hoar Cross Hall Wedding.

It was an honor and privilege to be asked by Vivienne & Adrian to be their Hoar Cross Hall Wedding Photographer. Our day started at Vivienne’s parents (Pat & Geoff) home in Bloxwich and of course, we were greeted with cups of coffee and sausage sandwiches which went down very well even while I was capturing the events as they happened. We also had a little star who will make a perfect model, Daisy was always joyful and ready to have her photograph taken with Jenny (mum) keeping a close eye. Lovely to see Sophie Barker from The Worx Hair, Tanning and Beauty Salon and of course one of our Brides from several years past, “so lovely to see you again Sophie” Once the Rolls Royce and Bentley arrived ( Secret Surprise from Mum n Dad) it was time for us to drive to the Church of Holy Angels which dominates the countryside in Hoar Cross. The Church is within the superb grounds of Burton’s premier wedding venues, Hoar Cross Hall, The Holy Angels church is a little more like a Cathedral and the foundation was in 1874. Adrian and his Bestman, James, and Groomsmen, Darren & Chris who arrived shortly before the ceremony so we captured some shots of them before the Bridesmaids and the Bride arrived. After the Ceremony the rings were exchanged and register signed, it was time for the confetti followed later with some drinks and canapes at the Hall. After all the group shots it was time for the speeches followed by the wedding breakfast and the evening celebrations. Shooting a wedding here at Hoar Cross is just a dream the gardens are stunning and given the time you could shoot all day long and still not capture its splendor. Amazing. We all had a stunning day the weather was just perfect, a huge thank you to all those happy faces just too many to mention, who made us feel so welcome, it was so much fun being part of Vivienne & Adrian’s wedding day.
Thank you to Pat who secretly gave me lots of wedding cake. It was all munched before I arrived back home. Thank you to the new Mr & Mrs. Bouckley, we wish you both all the happiness for the future.

Mitton Hall Wedding – Gemma & Phillip

You can take a little peek at Gemma & Phillips wedding, By Going Here

Mitton Hall wedding – Gemma & Phillip Were on earth do I start with this wonderful day. We have been looking forward to Gemma & Phillips wedding at Mitton Hall since Gemma ask me to be their wedding photographer back in April 2016, She just came over and asked me  when we were photographing Gemma’s cousin wedding in Worcester. I can always remember Gemma’s huge smile that always greets you whenever you meet Gemma her wedding day was full of smiles. Two years later I can’t believe that we are here and already in Lancashire. We started the day off at Gemma’s mum’s huge house in Blackpool. The room was abuzz with bridesmaids, Remy, Hayley, Victoria Louise, Tayla-Daisy Tilly-May, Poppy-sue Georgia and not forgetting the boys, Lennon and Buddy, including makeup and hairstylist ( My best friend Haylie) ir certainly was a hive of activity. Gemma & Phillip had decided to get married at St Annes Church in Singleton, Poulton-le- Fylde and then on to the prestigious Mitton Hall in Clitheroe for the celebrations and party. Arriving in a White stretched Rolls-Royce Gemme emerged looking stunning in her amazing wedding Dress, ( by Suzanne Neville at Dreamcatcher) The ceremony was conducted by the Rev, Carolyn Leitch in front of a packed church. The journey to Mitton Hall was taken through some wonderful rolling countryside and rolling hills accompanied by sunshine and blue skies. The main wedding room at Mitton hall was quite breathtaking with views through the orangery towards the River Ribble. Large blossom tree centrepieces adorned some of the tables along with tall flower dressed candelabras, a truly amazing sight. The speeches were full of fun laughter and tears, a truly wonderful experience to capture some of those heart felt emotions. As always we love to include some words from the Bride, Gemma,
We had seen each other around where we lived but met Phillip walking past my school. he finished at 3:15 and I finished at 3:50. By the timeI was coming out Phil was walking past with his mates, that’s when we first met. WHAT WAS THE PROPOSAL LIKE? The proposal had been planned. Apparently all family and friends knew about it. We all went on Holiday to Turkey, Myself Phil and Lennon. The pane was to propose on a photo shoot that we had booked, but decided not to at the last minute. Philip proposed on the Jetty later on that night. HOW DID YOU FIND WEDDING PLANNING? We found planning the wedding fine. Start in advance with plenty of time, and if you know exactly what you want, you will be fine. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING VENUE? Didn’t really look anywhere else, the moment I saw Mitton Hall I knew it was the one. WHAT IS GOING TO BE YOUR FAVOURITE TIME OF THE DAY? Hopefully the whole day. I do not want the day to end, Really looking forward to the speeches and getting very merry with family and friends.

Special Thanks to Gemma & Phillip for allowing me to be part of their amazing wedding day. Friends for ever.

If you enjoyed reading about Gemma & Phillips day and you are planning your own wedding day at Mitton Hall, or maybe another wedding venue, no matter where you are I would love to hear from you both.

Ramada Park Hall Hotel Wedding with Laura & Dal

1st Dance

Ramada Park Hall hotel wedding with Laura & Dal was the setting to a truly exciting and colourful wedding back in June during the glorious hot weather. We first met Dal & Laura back in 2016 when they booked Heart Wedding Photography to photograph their wedding day at the Ramada Park Hall Hotel in Wolverhampton West Midlands. Celebrations started at Laura’s Mehndi evening some days earlier, I wanted desperately to have my hand decorated with some Henna but alas I ran out of time. We started at the Park Hall with Laura and the Girls, Charlotte, Baljit, Elizabeth and Ranjit. After we had photographed the venue from outside. Laura was looking very relaxed and stunning as usual ( Dal you’re a lucky man Bud) Laura’s Dress was by Laur Amour in Stourbridge the detail was truly amazing and shoes by Rainbow. Dal was waiting outside with the guys, Chris (Bestman) Ekwal, Daniel and Harry. having just arrived in a huge Hummer supplied by Prestige Cars. Dal looked very sharp with a mid-grey suit by Slaters. As I mentioned earlier the weather was just perfect for a ceremony outside on the lawns at the Park Hall Hotel. The days schedule made sure that every living moment was filled with something to watch eat or drink, such an amazingly colourful and exciting wedding day. During the afternoon family and friends enjoyed a Caricaturist (Richard Ellis) which was very busy with some very brave people. Later into the evening, we enjoyed Music by The Birmingham Crew, who kindly allowed me to share their stage to take some shots of the crowd dancing with the Bhangra Mascots who created a great and exciting atmosphere for everyone. Just a few words from Laura& Dal. HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET? During an interview for a Life Guard Job. WHAT WAS THE PROPOSAL LIKE? Very Romantic, Dal proposed in Venice. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR VENUE? Location and the fact that everything would be held in one place. WHAT IS GOING TO BE YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE DAY? Entrance into the ballroom with the drums.
We would like to say thank you to Laura & Dal for allowing us to share their truly amazing wedding day and one that we will reminisce about for some time to come. Jon & Max.

Wedding at Stanbrook Abbey

Stanbrook Abbey Autumn Wedding with Lyndsey & James

Stanbrook Abbey looks fantastic at this time of the year with ripened apples on trees and the start of winter colours are everywhere. Lyndsey and James booked our photography package back in January 2017 for their wedding in late October 2017. Both Lyndsey, James and Sebastian their 2 year son, not forgetting his favourite pal Dog..Dog who was featured in some of Lyndsey’s wedding dress pictures… we could not resist so cute. I must say we had been looking forward to Lynsdeys wedding and what a great wedding too.. I say that all year but it was truly a bloody great day.  If you get married at Stanbrook Abbey here in Worcestershire. getting ready in the Brides Manor is just a must have.. with lots of rooms to relax and get ready for the start of your wedding day. The girls, Michelle, Alison and Sydney (Love that name) were all busy looking after Lyndsey and young Sebastion (Page boy) while we were looking after the Groom and the Boyz, James, Steve Marcus and Krish before the main ceremony. If you looking for a wedding photographer who knows this stunning venue very well why not give us a call, I would be delighted to chat with you.

A little chat with the Bride.

HOW DID YOU MEET? James was a member of a local gym  in which I was a personal trainer and gym instructor, although he was not my client. WHAT WAS THE PROPOSAL LIKE? In New York two days before my 30th Birthday. We were in a helicopter enjoying a tour round the statue of Liberty, we both had headphones on listening to the pilot talking about the sights when James mouthed ” Will You Marry Me” I responded ” WHAT!” Then he repeated the question, pointing to his ring finger.. I said “YES”… HOW DID YOU FIND WEDDING PLANNING? Expensive! There are so many fantastic things out there, but try to do as much as you can yourself.  WHY DID YOU CHOOSE STANBROOK ABBEY? I have worked so many weddings at normal conference centers, I just wanted something with a bit more character. WHAT IS GOING TO BE YOUR FAVOURITE TIME OF THE DAY? ( James)  Everyone hitting the dance floor to the band.  (Lyndsey) The moment James sees me at the bottom of the aisle.

Please take your time and enjoy this small selection of images taken from the main gallery.
